A steampunk media satire cartoon. Posted at a time when the 'media' itself is in the spotlight. 'Press Release' doubles up in meaning as she also 'lets off steam' like a kettle that has reached boiling point. The cyber mermaid has 'Big Brother' eyes ( from the reality series 2011 ) and copper electrodes are plugged to the 'media machine'. She is a shade of lightbulb yellow ( instead of her usual grass green or lime green ) in order to light up the galleries of cyberspace.This could also be an internet cartoon.
